The Green Lake gobble is a thanksgiving tradition that you don’t want to miss! What abetter way to prepare for the ultimate glutenous holiday than walk, trot, or gobble around Greenlake! What makes the gobble better this year is that there will be beer at the end…. and you guessed it, the beer garden will be featuring NW Peaks! So come out for a great time and don’t forget your canned food – to help supply a meal for the less fortunate – and enjoy! Bonus: the event supports a great cause (Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission).
Kevin and company are trudging around the lake twice (10k) and we’re looking for people to join us in the trudge, errrr, gobble! We won’t be trying to burn the turkeys, but rather we like our gizzards slow cooked to the perfect temperature (But don’t let that stop you from burning your potatoes!).
Register and email us if you’d like to dash with us (firstname.lastname@example.org), we’ll coordinate with you on Saturday. feel free to just do the first lap with us if you prefer the single 5k trip around the lake. Otherwise we’ll see you in the beer garden!
